Partnerships
The success of Keep Palm Beach County Beautiful (KPBCB) depends on
many public and private partnerships. The following organizations greatly contribute to
the success of this nonprofit, volunteer-based organization:
The Solid Waste Authority
The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County (SWA),
assists us with funding, the coordination of neighborhood cleanups, disposal of debris
collected during volunteer cleanups, and in many other ways. Volunteer paint teams from
KPBCB and many other firms and organizations use recycled paint donated by SWA for the
"Paint Your Heart Out" project. Use of this recycled paint product is another
way to reduce waste!
Florida Department of Transportation
The Florida Department of Transportation through
the Palm Beach County Metropolitan Planning
Organization is the funding source for landscape beautification projects on state
thoroughfares which receive matching funds. The program is facilitated by KPBCB. FDOT also
supports KPBCB's litter prevention activities.
